Amazon have signed the former Top Gear gang for an all-new car show exclusive to Amazon Prime members.

The trio have committed to three seasons of the yet unnamed show which is set to premier in 2016.

Not only are Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May on board, but so is Andy Wilman, Top Gear's long running executive producer.

This is great triumph for Amazon who will be looking to boost their subscribers for Amazon Prime.

Jeremy Clarkson said

I feel like I've climbed out of a bi-plane and into a spaceship.

Richard Hammond added

Amazon? Oh yes. I have already been there. I got bitten by a bullet ant.

James May said

We have become part of the new age of smart TV. Ironic, isn't it?

And on hearing the news, The Stig had this to say

Jeremy Clarkson fired

Clarkson was famously fired from Top Gear by the BBC back in March 2015 for an unprovoked attack on Oisin Tymon, a producer on the show.

It was announced in June 2015 that Chris Evans would be taking over Clarkson's job and also that Hammond and May wouldn't be returning.

What is Amazon Prime anyway?

Amazon Prime combines access to over a million songs, unlimited One-Day delivery, unlimited streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows, unlimited photo storage and access to Kindle books.

Amazon Prime costs £79 a year and all considered is actually great value for money.
